Who We Are
Since the age of 16, Michael has been a successful touring drummer, performing thousands of shows throughout the east coast. At the age of 27, his band “Tyketto” signed a recording deal with Geffen Records, and would go on to release five studio albums.
The band enjoyed a lengthy run as the #1 MTV request for their AOR hit, “Forever Young” and would gain worldwide notoriety, releasing six globally aired videos and touring over twenty countries spanning three continents. With Tyketto, Michael has shared the stage with such artists as Aerosmith, Whitney Houston, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Tesla, Tower of Power and BB King.
Michael has also co-written forty five published songs, produced seven albums and has managed all business affairs for Tyketto, including merchandise design / marketing, and full tour management.
Building off of his wealth of international touring expertise, 1998 saw Michael launch 107 Productions. Built on the foundation of solid artist relations and a keen eye for talent, the agency was an instant hit and eventually opened offices in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2006 Michael joined forces with Scott Rush, taking the agency to even greater heights.
To date, 107 Productions has booked over 30,000 live events and continues to be a driving force in the nightclub, casino, wedding and corporate entertainment fields.
The key to successfully representing artists is to understand them, and the key to understanding them is being one of them. Our goal at 107 Productions is to help musicians define and achieve their vision on a performing and marketing level.
Scott started his journey in the music industry as a live performer at the age of eighteen. As a keyboard player/singer, Scott has toured throughout the world, sharing the stage with such great acts as Milo Z, Robert Randolph, Gavin DeGraw, Al Green, Hiram Bullock, Patty Smith, The Meters, The Neville Brothers, and G-Love. He has performed on nationally recognized shows including, NBC’s, “Last Call with Carson Daly”, the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, The Metro Channel, My9 WWOR-TV, and the NJN Network.
Also an accomplished writer, Scott has co-produced and written dozens of songs that were released and published by several musicians. In 2001, Scott entered the business side of the music industry, teaming up with Grammy Award winning producer John Seymour to form the agency Media 51. As a licensed agent, he began fostering talent and booking shows in both America and Europe, while his partner John opened up the successful Treefort Recording Studio.
Media 51 and 107 Productions merged in 2006, cementing 107 as a frontrunner in the live entertainment booking industry. Since then, 107 Productions has become one of the largest agencies in the east coast, booking thousands of live performances a year for a myriad of diverse clients and events.
Scott has been integral in building the national act buying arm of 107 Productions, which has included concert production for such artists as Tim McGraw, Train, Ziggy Marley, Stevie Wonder, Pat Benatar, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Spin Doctors and Little Big Town.
Being a touring musician, a song writer and a national talent buyer, I feel I can guide our artists in a way most other agents cannot. The 107 Productions team shares a diverse wealth of experience regarding every facet of the music business.
